Compassion Games International invites the world’s technology leaders to join an Indigenous-led global movement and help demonstrate that peace is possible.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, August 31, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Hereditary Chief Phil Lane Jr., an enrolled citizen of the Ihanktonwan Dakota and Chickasaw Nations, White Swan Oyate, and Chairperson of Compassion Games International and Four Worlds International Institute, has issued a direct call to the leaders and principal investors of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Microsoft, Meta, xAI and the wider artificial intelligence community:

Bring humanity’s most advanced intelligence into the service of peace.

The call is part of 11 Days to Prove Peace Is Possible, taking place September 11–21, 2026. This global co-opetition will culminate on the United Nations International Day of Peace with a worldwide call for a verified 24-hour global ceasefire and day of nonviolence.

“We are not asking the Frontier AI Laboratories merely to endorse another campaign,” Chief Lane said. “We are inviting them to demonstrate what intelligence is truly for: life rather than death, cooperation rather than domination, healing rather than division, and peace rather than war.”

The eleven days build upon 99 Days of Peace Through Unity, Compassion Games International’s Survival of the Kindest, and We, The World’s 11 Days of Global Unity, founded by Rick Ulfik and now entering its twenty-third year. Together, these initiatives offer a model of global co-opetition: people and organizations compete to contribute their greatest gifts while cooperating to accomplish what no individual, institution, government, or technology can achieve alone.

The September mobilization is one expression of a much larger movement rising across Mother Earth. Indigenous Peoples throughout the Americas are renewing their relationships while building bonds with hereditary chiefs, kings, queens, elders, healers, spiritual custodians, women, youth and community leaders throughout Africa. These relationships are expanding into Ireland and Europe, Greenland, India, China, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and beyond.

“This is a growing movement of movements—a sacred hoop of many hoops,” Chief Lane explained. “Every People retains its distinct identity, language, culture and spiritual inheritance while bringing its unique gifts into service to the whole human family.”

The expanding team of teams includes Compassion Games International, Four Worlds International Institute, the Continental Indigenous Council, One World, We, The World, ProSocial World, UNITY EARTH, Evolutionary Leaders, Pathways To Peace, Global Silent Minute, May Peace Prevail on Earth International, Peace One Day, the Humility, Kindness & Love Global Movement, the Church of Jesus Christ, Supreme Master Ching Hai and her worldwide community, the Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal and Eagle, Indigenous Nations, African traditional leaders, spiritual communities, humanitarian organizations and peacebuilders.

“These networks represent millions of relationships and decades of service,” Chief Lane emphasized. “The people and movements are ready. We now need coordination, communication, translation, technology and material support to allow these many streams to become one mighty river of peace.”

Chief Lane brings more than 55 years of sustained experience in Indigenous leadership, education, healing, reconciliation, community development and international peacebuilding. He co-founded the Four Worlds International Institute in 1982 and helped develop culturally grounded approaches to human and community transformation across the Americas and internationally.

From 1980 to 1996, Chief Lane served as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada. He received tenure after only one year—an extraordinary academic achievement—and joined scholarship, research, writing, editing, and education with direct service in Indigenous communities.

His on-the-ground work has encompassed youth and leadership development, cultural restoration, substance-abuse prevention, spiritual renewal, community healing and peacebuilding. He played an important role in awakening public understanding of the intergenerational harms caused by Canada’s Indian Residential School system and advancing the healing movement that contributed to the national settlement, healing resources and public apology.

Chief Lane is a member of the AISES Council of Elders, a co-founder and former Global Trustee of the United Religions Initiative and a member of Evolutionary Leaders. His work has taken him throughout North, Central and South America, Africa, Micronesia, Hawaii, China, India and Southeast Asia, grounded in the principle that lasting development must arise from within the people themselves.

The spiritual roots of this global movement reach back to July 9, 1971. Following prayers on the Island of the Sun and the Island of the Moon in Lake Titicaca, Chief Lane joined sixteen Quechua relatives in sacred prayer at the Royal Seat of the Incas. There, he experienced a vision of Indigenous Peoples rising together as one mind, one body, one heart and one spirit—not to dominate others, but to reunite the Condor and the Eagle and help restore the Sacred Hoop of Life.

That vision later expanded to embrace the Quetzal and the Hummingbird and to recognize the essential place of Indigenous, ancient and traditional Peoples throughout every region of Mother Earth.

“This prophecy is unfolding now,” Chief Lane said. “The Condor and the Eagle are reuniting. The Quetzal and the Hummingbird are joining them. The traditional leaders of Africa are rising, and relatives across Europe, Asia, India, Southeast Asia and the Pacific are coming forward. We are building relationships of trust, reciprocity, transparency and shared responsibility.”

During September 11–21, Frontier AI Laboratories and its investors are invited to contribute conflict analysis, translation, misinformation detection, humanitarian coordination, ceasefire verification, cross-cultural communication, resource mapping, and technological support for proven peacebuilding efforts.

AI is invited as a powerful tool—not as the authority over humanity’s future. Technology must be guided by human conscience, spiritual principles, Indigenous wisdom, transparent accountability and the lived knowledge of communities most directly affected by war, poverty, displacement and environmental destruction.

“September 21, 2026, can become more than another commemoration,” Chief Lane concluded. “It can become a living demonstration that humanity is capable of choosing another way.
